Montag's Antoine Bedard is in the middle of a creative and ambitious concept album of sorts. Phases is a year-long songwriting/video-making/collaboration extravaganza for the Montrealian: starting in January he has released one single (or "Phase") a month, each fully accompanied by a B-side and video. I thought I'd share his latest, "There Is A Voice" or "Phase 6," with y'all, by means of the amazing video by stop-motion collagist Sam Gurry. The video acts as a modern take on Terry Gilliam-style animation, and makes you ask why all music videos don't have watches and keys shooting around in a forest at some point.
