Girlseeker - "Time Spending Lady"

Hahaha! Yep. Copenhagen's Girlseeker just shot straight to the top of the list of bands I want to see live. Say what you will about the hypocritical or fleeting nature of outsider art speculation (see also: Complete - "Hoogie Boogie Land"), but then just rock out to the totally raw and brilliantly unrefined pop-punk splendor of "Time Spending Lady." You've got keyboard cat in there--I think; a rippin' guitar solo; awkward, yet commanding vocal presence; and, what's really just a great story of a girl that wastes all of your damn time. Woo-oo!
